I’ve ordered this lovely yoga mat for myself.
My own was a cheap foam mat that was flaking and dropping bits everywhere, so I was excited to receive this one.
It’s lovely and thick compared to my other one, and has a nice grippy underside that feels very anchored in place when it’s down. It’s also a great size.
The top side has texture so that my hands and feet don’t slide. You can use whichever side you prefer though as it’s double sided.
The sustainable materials used are high quality and eco friendly, they are safe for us, pets and the planet which is perfect.
It’s sweat proof and just needs a quick wipe when you want to clean it, so it’s very easy to look after, and it comes with a carry strap which holds it in it’s rolled up position making it easy to store.
It was all the above and the great design and choice of fantastic colours that drew me to it. I eventually went with the orange and teal which looks amazing but there are several colour options that I dithered over!
All in all this is a well made yoga mat with excellent cushioning and a great grip.
In my opinion it’s worth every penny, and I would recommend it.

My current yoga mat is coming to the end of it's life, so I thought I'd give this one a try. It comes in my favourite colour, turquoise, with a contrasting purple back. The colours are nice and vibrant, as they appear in the product photography.
The Mat is in that Goldilocks zone – not too thin, not too thick and heavy – it's enough for some cushioning and support without it being overly bulky and hard to carry. The Matt is non-slip, waterproof and cleans up well (remember to dry it thoroughly though after cleaning). There's a moulded pattern on the surface of the Matt which aids it's grip, which is both functional and attractive.
In use, the Mat flattens out well and stays where it's supposed to. A simple carry strap is included, to keep the Mat rolled. You can sling it over your shoulder for easy carrying.
Before I get on to my last point, and only gripe, I have to say it's a nice mat. It does it's job, looks like it will last a good while and is a nice replacement to my old Mat, which was of similar quality – BUT a little bit cheaper!
Now, on to my only complaint! The Matt proudly advertises it's eco credentials. "Eco friendly" to be precise. I was initially quite impressed and believed it may be built from wholly recycled or environmentally friendly materials. IT IS NOT! In fact, the Matt has no particular environmental credentials in the manufacturing process, other than it's made from TPE other than something like PVC. It's only eco boast is that YOU can recycle it when you're done using the product. This may be harder than you first think, depending on where you live and what materials your local council recycles. TPE falls under type 7 plastics for your household recycling, so may have to be taken to your local supermarket or similar for industrial reprocessing. TPE is marginally less energy polluting in it's manufacturing process in comparison to traditional PVC plastics. But it's still plastic. It will not biodegrade and requires correct recycling, otherwise it adds to the world's plastic pile.
If you want a yoga Matt with eco credentials, buy cork or natural rubber matt's.

PROS:
– Great colour options: I chose to use it purple side up, as that seems to have a slightly grippier surface.
– Sweat-proof: As someone who can get sweaty palms when they're working hard at yoga, especially in warmer weather, I can rarely use a yoga mat without a towel to help with grip. I didn't need to use one with this mat.
– Thick and Comfortable: If a yoga routine involves a lot of kneeling postures, it's not unusual for me to have to fold my mat for extra support under my knee. This mat is thicker than most of the others I own, as well as being really soft, so it supports my knees perfectly.
– Lightweight: The mat is incredibly light for such a good quality item.
CONS:
– Smelly: It has quite a strong manufacturing smell when you first unroll it, so it would be worth airing before the first use or using a mat spray.
– Bulky: Because it's such a plush mat when rolled up, it's quite a bit thicker than your average mat and takes up more space. However, because it's so light and comes with a carry strap this isn't really an issue, but worth bearing in mind for storage purposes.
Overall, I'm really impressed with this yoga mat. It gets all the important things right and is my new favourite mat. It is quite expensive, but I think the quality justifies the price. It gets the full 5 stars from me!
