Cannot comment on the durability yet as it's still very new – but it seems to do the job.     The bands are all made from high quality, strong rubber with good elasticity . The medium (purple) and heavy (red) bands are both perfect for exercise and suited me very well. The light (blue) band would be perfect for beginner exercises but the band I received has a tear in it. This tear is small but will still affect the use of the band, therefore I give this product 4 stars.
