This mat is not only pretty but is definitely non slip.

I’ve been using the Ascend Yoga Mat in Sage Haven for a few weeks, and I like it a lot. I do yoga a few times a week at home – usually in the mornings before work or evenings after the kids are in bed – so I don’t need anything fancy, just something that’s comfortable and doesn’t slide around.
The double-sided print is a nice touch. I love the floral design, but it’s great that I can flip it, too. It feels like it’ll last a bit longer since the hand and foot spots aren’t wearing down as fast. The color is exactly as pictured: bright without being too bold.
In terms of feel, it’s almost identical to the big-name 6 mm mats I’ve used before. It’s slightly less ridged, which I actually like. It's still "sticky" enough for yoga poses, but is more comfortable under my hands and feet. I even tried it for hot yoga with a towel, and it held up fine. For me, it’s mostly my go-to mat for casual sessions at home on hard floors or carpet, and it works perfectly.
The only small downside was the smell when I first opened it. It was strong at first but faded after a couple of days. Not a huge deal, but worth noting.
Overall, this mat is cute, functional, and well-made. It’s not five stars because of that initial smell and the fact that I’m a casual user and don’t need all the fancy extras, but it’s definitely solid quality for the price.

I enjoy using this yoga mat. It's very comfortable to use. It has a great, non-slip texture. It's average thickness. It's also great for other exercises besides yoga (sit-ups. crunches, push-ups, ect.) It's easy to clean. It's free from phthalates, latex, and other allergens. The color and design are lovely. It's durable and of high quality.

Nice yoga mat. My wife had been using a plain black mat, and was ecstatic to get this lovely mat which is solid color on one side, and has a nice print design on the other (she prefers the print side). This mat is slightly larger than her previous mat, and she feels it gives better cushioning with its slightly better thickness. She notes that this mat stays positioned on the floor MUCH better than her previous mats, which makes it more comfortable and useful for her. She is very happy with this mat. Recommended.
