The thickness of the bands ranges from light, medium, and heavy. I feel these bands would work great for your arms and legs since there is enough range of motion when you're stretching them. I find the length of the bands to be decent.
I noticed the light band was more on the "extra, extra light side." When I did several standing up type workouts, the bands would not stay in place so they would slip or roll-up, especially for the light and medium bands. I believe that can be common when using a latex type of material. On the plus side, they are easy to clean. I did look at getting fabric type resistance bands, but I imagine that sweat will cause them to stink up and require one to throw it in the washer or be hand-wash.
Overall, I find that I use these resistance bands for doing Pilates, yoga, or other basic workouts. If your a starter in using resistance bands, these would do the job.
